Lorenzo was born with a right side CDH repaired at day 2 at Great Ormond street hospital. He remained on life support for over 8weeks his lungs were very poorly and doctors weren’t sure the extent of the damage caused he then got moved to the local hospital were he remained for a further 4weeks. After this Lorenzo had several hospital admissions with chest infection and collapsed lungs and was again put on life support after catching RSV he remained on life support for over a month were we feared the worst outcome. Due to the CDH Lorenzo has always suffered from ling problems as well as other health complications including bowl problems and oesophagus unfortunately Lorenzo had all possible complications due to the CDH. He’s now 4 and I couldn’t be more proud of how far he’s come and every hurdle he’s over come! X
