Georgia was born a healthy baby. We went on holiday to Cyprus just after her second birthday. She took seriously ill and required CPR from her daddy! Upon arrival at Pathos hopsital she had a pneumothorax, this was drained instantly. She was transferred 2 hours alone to Nikosia Children’s hopsital where she was diagnosed with CDH. She had her repair there and flew home via air ambulance 10 days later to Sheffield Children’s Hospital where she was discharged 5 days later. They said she was a walking miracle to have survived until the age she had before being diagnosed. Her big sister Charley was born with undiagnosed CDH and they found this at birth. I have two amazing warrior princesses who have thrived since.
