June 28th is CDH Awareness Day Here is what we have going on!

 

‘WEAR 4 AWARENESS’ – encouraging everyone to wear a CDH Awareness item on CDH Awareness day on 28th June!

‘BADGES 4 BABIES’ – Promoting recognition for the CDH symbol which represents the different aspects of CDH by asking you to sell awareness badges at work, school, clubs, public venues and anywhere else that you can think of! To request a pack of 50 badges please email awareness@cdhuk.org.uk

‘BAKE 4 BABIES’ – Take part in this favourite family fundraising event to raise awareness and funds for our cause by baking some buns and cakes and holding a Bake 4 Babies cake sale at school, work, evening class, nursery or wherever you can sell them! We will provide you with a pack to help you raise awareness on the day comprising of a recipe card, posters and CDH info leaflets. We also hope to have some aprons for sale in both adults and childrens sizes very shortly with sale proceeds to our cause

‘MOMENTS FOR MEMORIES’
At Midday on the 28th June 2013 we ask you to take 50 moments (seconds) to think of and remember all families affected by CDH and of the babies and children lost to CDH. The 50 seconds representing the current mortality rate of around 50% CDH UK will light a candle in recognition at Midday.

‘LOBBY 4 LIITLE LIVES’
With the help and support of Naomi Long MP and other local MP’s we hope to bring about a debate at Westminster to coincide with CDH Awareness Day.

So please support this Day, this is everyone’s chance to make our voices heard and to raise lots of awareness for this devastating condition on the 28th June 2013.
