Our beautiful little boy was born 28/1/25 and went to surgery at 3 days old with being so strong once he was born we spent countless hours by his side and waiting around for good news them 5 hours of his surgery was the most difficult 5 hours i have ever been through, the surgery went really well and they managed to get everything back in the right place he seemed like he was getting better and then one day everything just changed and he was getting worse by the minute he ended up on everything that the hospital could give him. We were at St Mary’s in Manchester the NICU team were wonderful but as days went by he wasn’t responding properly to the medication and he was not stable enough to be transfered, days passed and he couldn’t fight this battle anymore and went to sleep after 16 long hard days fighting and so many long nights suffering in pain he finally went to rest after i finished reading him a bedtime book he fought a hard battle and lost but i am proud he tried so hard to survive. Everyone who helped in Michael-Franks care did an amazing job and i am so thankful they tried so hard.
