James’ hernia was discovered at 28 weeks and thought to be very severe. As it turned out when he was born he didn’t need full ventilation, his repair happened two days later and went very well. After an infection and five weeks in Leeds neonatal unit we took him home. He is now a happy nearly 8 month old baby.
