Ariella was born with the rarity of gastroschisis with liver (intestines, bowel and liver) at a gestation of 30+4 weeks, weighing 900g at UCLH. She was a little fighter who was treated in GOSH over the duration of 5 days. Sadly, our little warrior developed a bilateral intracranial haemorrhage, which had caused such substantial damage to one side of her brain. Our little girl was taken off of the ventilator and passed away peacefully in our arms 12 hours later.
