Our son Archie had an undiagnosed left sided CDH at birth. Our entire family was devastated as CDH was something we had never heard of. He had surgery at 4 days old to repair the hernia and he made a full recovery. Unfortunately at 4 months old, Archie re-herniated and had to have the repair again. He has now a happy healthy boy, We thank CDH UK and all the medical/nursing staff for saving our precious boy.
